Thanksgiving is in the Air!

As we are all scurrying around this weekend picking up the last minute ingredients for our favorite meal on Thanksgiving Day - pumpkin pie spice (forgot we used the last of it last year), cranberry sauce (for the day-after sandwiches), just one more bag of potatoes (can't have too much mashed potatoes) - take a minute with me to breathe deeply and think about why we do all this. Great illustrations are the key to a great read for preschoolers. If the pictures entice, they will fall in love with it long before they get to the "what does (fill in the blank) mean?" and "why, why, why did he do that momma?"
