Welcome to Being Savvy Fort Worth! I am a work-outside-the-home mom of two young children, one dog, one cat, and one husband. My husband and I moved here five years ago and have enjoyed getting to know this City not only in its geographic sense, but in its community sense as well. We Fort Worthians pride ourselves on our ability to meld culture and down-home-ness, providing in equal parts kindness, tradition, and forward-thinking.

It has been great to watch cities in the Fort Worth area try to stay small and family-oriented, but also keep up with the Joneses.  So, we now have these great family communities with upscale restaurants, department stores, boutiques, family-owned businesses, and household corporate names we all know and (sometimes) love.

Fort Worth and the surrounding areas bring a richness to North Texas through their opportunities for quality education, quality culture, enviable restaurants, fashionable nightlife, and family-oriented activities.
